The rangers at Bryngarw Country Park
in Brynmenyn, Bridgend have a programme of spring guided walks
that will allow you to explore the award winning 113 acres of spectacular parkland whilst learning all about the fantastic wildlife on your doorstep.
In celebration of the Year of the Bat
(2011-2012), the park which boasts Bridgend County Borough Council’s largest picturesque landscape, is offering the unique opportunity to discover the fascinating world of bats, during an exciting after dark guided walk
on Tuesday 17 May from 8.15pm
Setting off at sundown, tune in to the night time and identify different species of bats using habitat clues and ultrasound detectors.
Admission is £2 per person with free car park. Please note this event is weather dependant. Advanced booking is essential as places are limited.
