Whether you are a keen golfer wishing to practise and improve prior to the Senior Open Championship in July, or a curious beginner new to the world of golfing, then Bridgend Golf might just be the place for you.
Located just on the outskirts of Bridgend with direct access off the A48, Bridgend Golf is a fantastic nine-hole course and practice range, golf shop and cafe. A round of golf on the nine-hole courses costs just £7 or, if you just want to perfect your driving, you can purchase a basket of practice balls (£3.20) and set up at the driving range.
The course itself offers two par-4 holes, the remainder being par-3. Having recently seen a number of improvements, the course is testing enough for experience golfers while also being an ideal spot for learning to get to grips with the sport.
Steve Gough, the popular and highly-respected resident PGA Professional, is also available for individual or group lessons. His Young Tiger groups are proving popular with boys and girls from the age of 6.
And when you're done swinging head back to the friendly club house for tea, coffee and light snacks (free wifi also available).
Open weekdays 8am-9pm and weekends 8am-8pm
